At Forever Together Jewellery, we offer two beautiful ways to set your loved one’s ashes or hair into a piece of jewellery:
Resin Polymer Settings and Secret Ashes Settings.
Each method offers something unique — whether you’re drawn to the visual beauty of resin or the discreet intimacy of ashes set into metal. Below, we’ll explain the difference to help you decide which option feels right for you.
Ashes Jewellery
The resin polymer style uses a high-quality, UV-stabilised resin to gently hold ashes,hair or fur within a beautiful, durable setting.
Created using layers of polymer, each taking over 24 hours to set, we create depth & dimention in every piece.
We set your loved ones inclusions in the final 2 layers as standard but if you want your ashes, hair or fur obscured or hidden in lower layers - we can of course do this, just pop a note on your order.
The resin polymer allows us to offer a wide variety of colours and effects — from soft pastel tones to intricate hand-painted scenes such as sunsets, rainbows, beaches, or starlit skies.
Why choose a resin polymer setting?
Every setting is crafted with care and creativity, allowing you to personalise a piece that reflects the unique spirit and memory of your loved one. This is also the only setting available to you if you have hair and fur - as the high heat of the metal set items wouldn't work with hair and fur.
Secret Ashes
For years we were asked for discreet memorial jewellery that wasn't bulky and didn't contain a chamber for loose ashes. We were proud to launch our Secret Ashes Range back in 2022 and it has become our best selling product.
If you prefer something more subtle and timeless, we can set ashes directly into the metal of the jewellery. This method involves fusing the ashes into the structure of the piece — making them part of the jewellery itself.
Best of all, you can use your own jewellery or your own gold.
Why choose a metal set piece?
Extremely discreet — the ashes are not visible to the eye and are permanently encased within the metal forever.
24/7 wear. We recommend taking off your resin polymer jewellery when bathing, showering, swimming and cleaning. Our secret Ashes jewellery can be worn 24/7 (though for safety we would always recommend taking off any jewellery to sleep in)
You can also use your own jewellery or use your own gold to have your piece made. Saving you money and creating a new piece of jewellery either out of a precious piece you already own or re-forging something unworn into something new and precious to you.
