Our Polymer
Why We Chose Our Signature Resin Polymer
Before Forever Together was born, we spent countless hours researching the perfect material to create our memorial jewellery. We tested a wide range of options, driven by one goal: to offer high-quality, lasting pieces at a price that felt fair—because we know first-hand how important these pieces are.
Many companies use glass, and while it’s undeniably beautiful and durable, it has its drawbacks. Glass can crack or shatter, and working with it requires specialised equipment that significantly increases both production time and cost. When we experienced loss ourselves, we struggled to find jewellery that was both meaningful and affordable. That’s when we knew—we had to do something different.
After extensive testing, we discovered a remarkable compound: a crystal-clear, ultra-strong epoxy polymer. It offered everything we were looking for—durability, clarity, longevity—and it allowed us to maintain the accessible pricing we’d set out to achieve from day one.
Epoxy polymer starts as a liquid and undergoes a chemical transformation over a few hours, becoming completely solid and incredibly tough. It’s highly resistant to cracks, moisture, and environmental wear, making it ideal for pieces meant to last a lifetime.
To go even further, we’ve treated our resin with advanced UV stabilisers, so you can trust that your jewellery will remain as beautiful as the day you received it—honouring your loved one for years to come.

Our Colours and Sparkle
When it came to choosing the perfect colours for our memorial jewellery, we knew flat, synthetic dyes just wouldn’t do. After months of experimenting, we discovered our winner—a finely milled, natural mica that brings every piece to life with depth, dimension, and a gentle shimmer that can’t be replicated.
We’ve carefully chosen the very best in the industry, and every pigment we use is the best the industry has to offer.
It’s the little things that matter most, which is why we pay such close attention to every detail in your piece—from the materials we choose to the final finish.
A Touch of Sparkle (Optional, Always Thoughtful)
If you'd like to add a little shimmer to your jewellery, we offer an optional iridescent sparkle dust. Completely vegan and cruelty-free, this fine, almost dust-like sparkle is nothing like craft glitter. It’s subtle, elegant, and designed to complement—not overshadow—the colour and the precious ashes within.
We set this shimmer into the final layer of your piece, where it catches the light just enough to add a soft, magical glow. It’s difficult to capture in photos, so we invite you to watch some of our videos to see this delicate sparkle in motion.
*If you require our bright red colour, this is not mica - mica powders just cannot replicate the bright red some of our customers want. This is also the only colour that isn't vegan due to the carmine in it. As an alternative pink, peach or a more subtle red also looks beautiful.

Metal Materials
At Forever Together, we carefully select every material that makes up our jewellery — not only for beauty and durability, but to suit a range of styles, budgets, and preferences.
You will see four primary options available as standard: 925 Sterling Silver, 9 Carat Gold Yellow Gold, 9 Carat Rose Gold & 9 Carat White Gold.
We also offer the option for you to ask us to quote any item in Platinum or 14-22 Carat Gold. The quote button is available on every item.
Sterling Silver is by far our most popular choice, loved for its timeless elegance and affordability. The majority of our designs are crafted in sterling silver, offering a stunning finish that complements any skin tone or style.
You'll see options on most of our designs for 9 Carat White, Yellow or Rose Gold for that extra special material choice.
We also offer a small range of hypoallergenic 316l stainless steel options for cufflinks, tie slides and floating lockets. These are the only items we don't hand-make in the UK. 316l Stainless Steel is a powerhouse of strength and resilience. We specifically use it for our lockets due to its durability—perfect for pieces with moving parts that need to stand the test of time. It’s resistant to rust and tarnishing, and all our lockets are interchangeable, allowing you to swap out or add new charms in different sizes and colours.
By offering all these materials, we ensure there's something for everyone—whether you're looking for a classic silver piece, a luxurious gold setting, or a strong, modern design.
If you're ever dreaming of a piece you don’t see on our site, just ask! We’re always working on new designs, and have the expertise to design the perfect piece for you and might just be able to bring your vision to life.

Packaging
Just like every piece of jewellery we create, our packaging is designed with care, intention, and meaning. We believe the unboxing experience should reflect the love and craftsmanship behind your piece — while also being kind to the planet.
That’s why we use as many recycled materials as we can. Our printing and dyeing processes use non-toxic inks, and wherever possible, we opt for vegan alternatives too.
We understand how important it is for such sentimental jewellery to arrive in a box that feels special — luxurious, yet sustainable.
Sustainability is a journey, and we’re always working to do better — exploring new suppliers and materials that align with our values and our promise to you.
We have recently re-designed our packaging to switch from the grey box & pale blue logo to a white box & navy blue logo. We are committed to being as zero waste as we can, so we will be using up the last delivery of the grey boxes before switching to the new white ones. If however you really really want a new white one, please ask, if they have arrived we will of course oblige.
